On Wednesday February 13th 2008, Governor 
Deval Patrick visits the CMAA. 25 Khmer Leaders 
attend the meeting. Fourteen issues have been 
raised to the Governor.
      
     1- Shannon Grant(anti-crime fund).
     2- After school program Fund.
     3- Request for hiring more Khmer workers in
        city $ state job.
     4- Easy access to Governor office.
     5- Difficulties to adapt the main stream
        especially in politic & government. 
     6- Unfair distribution of State fund.
     7- Selecting Lowell School Superintendent.
     8- Khmer has less voice in local politic.
     9- Thank for GED,Skill and ESL funding.
    10- Request fund for Khmer local Television.
    11- Lowell police busts Khmer activities.
    12- Request Fund for Khmer Culture 
        Preservation Festivals.
    13- Request the City of Lowell to support 
        Khmer Festivals.
    14- Invite the Governor to attend Khmer 
        New Year(2008).
